A day or two in the clinic
These past 2 days were one of the few in my life in a hospital.
Once in a decade I have to go for a check in.
My experience gives you the following 3 tips:
# 1
Stay calm and ask for anything to the staff (nurses, doctors, logistics) if necessary.
They have a lot of work, so ask friendly if you need something.
And they will be glad to help you out.
# 2
I was annoyed when after been in surchery my stomach couldn't bear it anymore and I had to eat.
So I thought a nurse would come with food. You guess, it took again more than one hour before I ate a sandwich. If your doctor agrees bring something from home or the cafetaria to eat.when you come out of surgery. It will help you through the difficult time as it come to an abandoned stomach.
# 3
At night sleep as much as you can. Take your eye shade mask with you, so you aren't disturbed by the light.
It really helps to sleep at least 5 or 6 hours in a row, after these hours you be approached by a nurse to check on your condition. After this intervention again try to sleep with the mask on untill your next breakfast. During the night drink water every 2 or 3 hours.
When you wake up in the morning you will not be dehydrated.
